Zámek Veltrusy
Veltrusy Chateau is a beautiful example of a country, aristocratic, Baroque residence. The chateau was built in the 18th centrury by a Chotek aristocratic family member, who was a regent at that time. The chateau is surrounded by a large parkland with centennial trees. The park is a popular spot for cycling and rides in horse-drawn carriages in the summer. The garden was designed in an impressive French style. Further, while walking through the gardens, you can enjoy some fascinating architectural features.
