Wenceslas Square (also known as Václavák) is Prague's central square - the top part of the square is dominated by the National Museum as well as the equestrian statue of saint Wenceslas, the patron of the Czech lands. Formerly called the Horse Market, which was held here regularly in medieval times. The square is lined by several impressive Art-nouveau buildings. There are lot of shops and restaurants.
