Kostel Pražského jezulátka
The Church of Infant Jesus (also known as Church of Our Lady of the Rosary) is found in Malá Strana. It houses the sacred statue of Prague's Infant Jesus. Legend has it that the statue has mysterious power. This is a small wooden statue covered by wax and it embodies Jesus Christ as a child. The Infant Jesus changes its clothes regularly according to the liturgical period and has three precious crowns. The last crown was given by the pope. The statue comes from Spain and in the 17th century Polyxena of Lobkowicz provided the Carmelites with it.
