Průhonický park a zámek
Průhonice park is earl Arnošt Emanuel Silva -Tarouca's life-long project. He established the park in 1885 in the valley of the Botič brook in the surroundings of the neo-renaissance Průhonice Chateau. The park is known for its extensive Alpine style environment, where mountainous plants, rhododendrons and domestic as well as exotic trees are grown. Both the chateau and the surrounding park are UNESCO listed. The best time to visit is at the turn of April and May, when the rhododendrons and azaleas are in full bloom.
