Gothic castle Kost was built in the middle of the 14th century. Unlike most castles its location is in a valley on a low hill in Czech Paradise. Ponds were built in its surroundings - they also served as protection against enemies, because in case of an attack they could be used to flood out the area around the castle, this way the castle would be less accessible. The castle is also open to public and you can also rent it for a wedding. Currently, the castle belongs to Kinsky dal Borgo House.
