The Žižkov transmitter or TV tower is Prague's highest structure with the height of 216 metres. Work on it started in 1985 and the tower was completed in 1992 - now in democratic Czechoslovakia. Next to the TV and radio transmitter you can find a restaurant, observation deck there and even a luxury hotel room, which you will reach by high speed elevator. This structure with climbing babies on it is controversial, it has its fans and opponents.
