Tančící dům
The Dancing House, also known as Ginger and Fred, is an icon of Prague's modern architecture, interestingly set within the surrounding historic built-up area. The concrete tower represents the famous dancer Fred Astair and the glass part represents his partner Ginger Rogers. Fred has a metal structure on the top of his head, called the Medusa head, which was designed after the original height of the tower was not approved by authorities. The house was completed in 1996 and today there are a gallery, restaurant and a vista bar with a viewing platform here.
