Staroměstské náměstí
The historic central square of Prague is a real gem of this city. The square is lined by first class merchant houses and further you can see the Rococo Kinsky Palace, the Gotic Bellhouse, the Old Town City Hall with famous Astronomical Clock, beautiful Tyn Church and the Baroque Saint Nicholas Church. The Master Jan Hus Memorial is located in the centre of the square. Standing in the Old Town Tower you can savor the views of the square and the Prague's red roofed city as well as the numerous towers. The white crosses on the square floor next to the City Hall remind the execution of the 27 Czech lords, which were executed after the Bílá Hora rebellion in 1621.
